Dioramic study of a call to action

What an incredible, poignant, moving film. The characters are candid, vulnerable. We can feel the terrible reality of their predicament. We can relate to the frustration of an impossible enemy in an impossible situation... for which there seems no possible solution.

What is a hero?

Do heroes win?

CAN THEY LOSE AND STILL WIN?

In the end, we aren't in control of everything which determines the outcome of an unfair fight.

It doesn't matter anything if we win or lose -- it matters EVERYTHING if we try.

Dr. Hasan Amjad tried hard. His scintillating daughter, Ayn Amjad, tried hard.

IN THAT, THEY WON.

And because of that, the people of Minden were not abandoned; they were loved.

I am grateful for that beautiful love, through which we all win... whether we lose or not.
