I couldn't resist. Clearly Wild Cards is most closely based on the short lived series Take Two. ....and Take Two was from the same team that bought us Castle.
The finale was actually pretty good. I had low expectations for this series after seeing the trailer but I actually enjoyed Season 1. It's nothing heavy. I believe it's correctly branded a comedy, crime & drama.
Well this episode revolves around a multi-million dollar egg. It's a bit far fetched, at times, to see Max calling the shots but it's a TV show. We do witness deception, betrayal of trust and in the end some big news for Ellis before the screen goes black.
That would set the stage for a Season 2. Could Ellis ever trust Max again? Would Max go back to jail? Many options for the writers.
