Neither Good nor Bad, but perfect for time pass
karanjainnov15 December 2023
Zakir khan's Mann pasand was not good as his other shows, but this show is good to spend the time. Zakir khan has not given his best this time. The starting 15-20 mins were much of boring type but the second half of the show was really good. I have read people saying that they stopped watching after 20mins but i wish they could have watched the show fully. It was really entertaining. The way, Zakir khan narrates the story is unmatchable. In this show, he has callback most of his jokes which even audience could interpret. Some of the jokes were not that good and some of the jokes were not understandable by audiences. Good show but expecting more from him, something mixed of Tathastu and Mann pasand.

Awesome for 60% of the time

Zakir is mind blowing when you see a live performance. There is never a dull moment in those appearances. When it comes to Amazon and other recorded appearances there is more emphasis on the acting part than the content per se. The acting also is great but we watch him more for the content. He is still very funny most of the times in this show but lacks that Zakir level many a times. Maybe he holds back the best for live shows. Not sure. But we love him for the fun he has always gives us. I am sure he will come back with many more amazing performances and he is not just a standup artist but another league all together. All the best Zaaakkirrrr!

Zakir is on fire like always. He never fails to connect with your emotions and childhood memories. He brought back the teenhood bakchodi of young boys. At some point or another you will find yourself in his story. Loved it.

amitrana-7168515 December 2023
This is my first show on Amazon prime by zakir khan and i still can't stop laughing. Everyone has a friend like kuntal and we all can relate with it. Don't go with the negative reviews, just go and watch it. Its a great show. I haven't seen tathastu but after watching this i will go and watch tathastu also now.

Zakir jokes on boys friendship are always great and it reminds me of my friends how they all used to be.

In this show he talks about relationship, friends, parents.

I like the title of the show maanpasand because now this show is also become my maanpasand show.

Wish zakir keep bringing such shows to make us all laugh.

Zakir is an amazing stand up comedian and a wonderful orator!

What an outstanding performance, how he picks the show is really worth mentioning and viewers gets mesmerised in the flow ..

His sense of comedy and how he links the thread across his show is fantabulous, and his ending is also worth noting , in his final words for the show he quickly links his main characters and make you feel so emotional n elated n happy actually that you keep on laughing and well deserved STANDING OVATION for him again!

Lovely and a must watch !

Tathasthu his earlier show was also superb! Do see that as well !

This time he fails to make us laugh
ranjeetkumar-9862311 December 2023
Beside I'm a big fan of Zakir khan I watched all his stand up original available on Amazon prime. I laughed so hard on all of them except this one. This is so dull feel like Zakir khan forcefully trying to do make us laugh with some stupid joke that only childrens can laugh on. Also unreliable even audience are not showing much interest on his jokes. I feel like I'm listening to a podcast not a stand up show by Zakir khan damn this man is so good at comedy but this time there's no comedy in his stand up. All the jokes are childish and many will find it not funny. Anyway I'm still his fan hope he'll do better in future again.

Finally people understand his hackiness
rahulvaidya0551 January 2024
This moment has been bubbling under the surface for a long time now. Its been hiding in plain sight ever since the first stand-up special came out after being viral on social media. That being an emotional hack doesn't translate to good stand up comedy. A viral youtube sensation that has been making a fool out of people instead of making them laugh. Everyone has been made an emotional fool by telling Bollywoodiya storiyan instead of telling jokes to actually make the audience laugh. The trope to emotionally guilt people into cheers and applause for the stand up stands exposed. Apart from a couple of jokes, the unnecessary wait for an applause seems desperate and not worth the viewers time.

Feels unnecessary
ashwinsshukla17 December 2023
This single was the worst ever made, loved zakir's tathastu and haq se single and have been a follower since very long time now but this one was just so bad!

It was a pain in my eyes and brain to watch, no new jokes, no jokes were landing and still background of people laughing was casted.

Felt forced and unnecessary from the first minute till where ever it was possible to be watched it was utter silence with no punch line, audience was shown laughing on things not even funny as if it was a paid one!

Ps: just acting like a fake girl doesn't make it funny, bro stole his sets from haq se single and made it worst.

Poor delivery and set
amolsareen12 December 2023
This one by Zakir Khan is with no punch lines. He was just speaking and telling some incident with no jokes. I expect a lot from Zakir Khan because of his history of making people laugh.

This show was not zabardast but zabardasti show. He started by saying jokes will not be good and voila , they actually weren't.

He is known to waeve a story around some trivial incidents or events, but here he was only speaking lines. Yes, I could hear people laughing, but after watching 20 mins I was sure, there are few people in the audience placed by Zakir and team.

First time I have left any show/movie half way and sad that it was for Zakir Khan.

Disappointing dive into lame jokes and superficial stories
shoponlinesaurabh21 December 2023
As a devoted fan of Zakir Khan's humor, watching "Mann Pasand" was an eagerly awaited experience that, unfortunately, ended in disappointment. Khan's signature witty jokes were replaced by a series of lame attempts that fell flat, lacking the usual cleverness we've come to love.

What's more disheartening is the departure from Khan's storytelling prowess. Instead of his usual knack for turning everyday incidents into comedic gold, the show featured what sounded like fabricated stories, lacking the genuine charm that makes his performances memorable.

Adding to the letdown, the set was devoid of punchlines. Khan seemed to abandon his well-honed comedic timing, leaving the audience with a scripted monologue rather than the laughter-inducing experience we anticipated. The suspicion of strategically placed laughter in the audience further detracted from the authenticity of the show.

In a first for me, I left a Zakir Khan show halfway through, a decision made with a heavy heart. "Mann Pasand Set" failed to meet the high standards set by this comedy maestro, leaving fans longing for the genuine laughs and relatable humor that define Zakir Khan's best performances.

Lacks the connection and emotion that Zakhir Brings in
sagarruparel-9627913 December 2023
Zakhir is very talented. His earlier 2 on prime were outstanding. The way he narrates, keeps his audience hooked and invested. This time he lacks the same... There's lack of connection, missing of emotion in his narration which he generally there when he narrates. This time he himself doesn't seem confident about his content as he presents it. It's good in bits and pieces. Expected a lot maybe. Happens.. Expect his comeback soon. He seemed lost this time. Seemed forceful in some of the portions as if he knew the jokes won't land. Missed the charm and aura he carries in his acts. Good luck zakhir. Long way toh go.

Cliche

This one was hard to watch. It was soo... boring

Never thought I would say this about a Zakir show. From day one he has been spectacular, showing these amazing insight and perspectives through comedy

In this episode Zakir has devolved literally into the sexist stereotropism we wish had been left behind with 1985. Typical girls are like this, boys like that. I mean

Halfway through the episode I realised I'm totally zoned out. So I switched it off. But not gonna lie, it felt like some old uncle or aunty has come visiting and I have to listen to their rubbish for formality. Till I realised, I have a choice, and can turn off the TV.

Didn't feel like his other stuff. Big fan of your otherwise work Zakir.
