Victim Finds Redemption!

Warning: Spoilers
I thoroughly enjoyed this episode! As a middle aged married career man I was able to relate to the main character that fell victim to a couple of criminals wanting to take advantage of his midlife crisis. The writing was superb and absolutely believable. All too often a dedicated loving husband has lost the passion in his marriage and decides to take "a night on the town.". As he is drugged, robbed and sexually assaulted, one can empathize with his predicament. I truly felt sorry for this poor man and found it uplifting that an escort would find the courage to come forward out of sheet humanity for the poor victim. The twist in the end was uplifting as the victim redeemed himself by finding the swagger as Ice-T put it and was able to work with the police to apprehend those responsible for drugging him and restores what was missing in his life and marriage. I especially liked how this character was able to find redemption through courage and restore what was missing in his life. Excellent writing, acting and directing as one would expect from this great series! Thank you Law and Order team!

The Punch List

Warning: Spoilers
David Krumholtz is a big name in the world of TV with a lot of past roles so when you see him on an episode of SVU you know it will be involved in something big. And this was an interesting take as we had a male victim, something the show has done, but definitely not as often as maybe they could have.

It was a fun episode, another one that had some headscratching moments in it for sure, but entertaining and enjoyable nevertheless. I just always laugh at these undercover missions and how poorly executed they seem to be. You have to wonder if the real NYPD ends up making these kinds of mistakes and letting others get away.
