A bitterswet tale Warning: Spoilers
An emotional stop-motion tale of a little girl coping with the loss of her beloved grandfather via an imaginary pet rhinoceros: From beginning to end, a bittersweet melancholy permeates the whole short, using both imagery that evokes childlike wonder and innocence with sadness.

The animation it's pretty great, having a rather impressive level of detail in plenty of scenes.

Rita Basulto, who previously co-directed the haunting horror short "El octavo día, la creación" along with Juan J. Medina, creates here a moving fable appropiate for all the family with a very sensitive side, which I personally recommend to everyone.

It is one of short animations offering, in gentle / soft manner, entire fresh air, emotion bz emotion, refuge bz reaction to lost of beloved one . A seven years old girl, her grandfather, her special pet. And an accident in forest.

It is just enough for a touching story about innocence, perception of near realitz, conclusions and a fragile - fascinating wisdome of earlz age.

The virtues of stop motion animation are used in admirable manner.

The sweet sadness defines this beautiful film, in essence a trip across memories of viewer, universal exactlz for their personal status.

In short, just a pure gem .
