Sex & Nudity

  • While nothing is too explicit, sexual innuendo is used frequently throughout the series.
  • Continuous references to masturbation, oral sex in particular, pornography, and rape.
  • A "death erection" is a running gag in the show where a man is seen to have an erection after death (no nudity).
  • A man briefly works at an adult theater and toilet cam voyeurism company--no nudity.

Violence & Gore

  • There is violence seen in every episode, ranging from mild to somewhat graphic. This includes stabbings, beatings, gun violence, and other skirmishes.
  • There is a quite bloody scene when a man is shot multiple times.
  • A man shoots himself in the head by accident; blood is seen on the wall behind him.
  • A man's finger is broken off of his hand, although this is offscreen.
  • The last few episodes contain fairly graphic violence. Part of a man's arm is blown off and blood squirts out of the wound. Gun violence is also prevalent; there are several shootouts with bloody results.
  • The violence isn't necessarily intense or disturbing, but used mainly for laughs. Still, the violence is frequent and comedically over-the-top.

Profanity

  • Strong language like "f**k" and "s**t" are used often by the main characters, albeit censored (Other coarse language like "dick" and explicit dialogue are also edited).
  • Milder language like "hell", "asshole", and "goddamn it" are audible and used regularly.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Some of the violence in the latter episodes can be graphic, but played for laughs instead of disturbing.
  • The show is mostly a dark comedy and has a humorous, satiric tone throughout.
