Not A Hyped-Up News Report
Siebert_Tenseven17 January 2018
This is not a documentary that derives sensationalism from the traumatic experiences of children. It is not a hyped-up news report. It is a well-produced, thoughtful account of organizations in several countries working to identify victims of child abuse. Beautiful photography and calming music help the viewer to deal with the devastating subject matter with compassion and sympathy.

As a filmmaker I don't understand the low 6.6 rating

This was a great doco - well filmed and the stories were handled beautifully. The pace is meandering but not slow; engaging with the brokenness of humanity in a respectful and artistic panorama. It weaves from place to place, story to story, some faces hidden and some fully revealed. As a Westerner I feel so sheltered from these realities and it was a sobering story time for me living in a safe house and a safe neighbourhood where we don't hear about these things happening.

I appreciated the pace and dynamic - sometimes the shock of these subjects can take you on a rattling dark journey but the filmmakers did great at connecting on a grounded level that brought you eye to eye with those beautiful souls and the people out there fighting for them. Great work.
