Personally, I liked a lot this episode. It seems that this new Regular Show season is going to take a very interesting direction, as the re-apparition of CJ in the series seems to indicate.
Anyway, "New Year's Kiss" was very enjoyable to watch, having a highly entertaining plot with a neat moment of character development for Rigby, who spends most of the episode trying to help Mordecai (Though I have to wonder why Mordecai was so unwilling to believe that Rigby received a message from his future self, considering that similar stuff happened before in "Mordecai and the Rigbys" and "Bad Kiss") Despite everything, it seems that(very deep inside, at least) Rigby is a good friend.
The ambiguous conclusion left me wandering about the way in which Mordecai and CJ relationship will be developed in future episodes.
