The New Generation is starting to shine

Live from Seattle, WA

Your hosts are Vince McMahon & Jerry Lawler

Psycho Sid Vs Justin "Hawk" Bradshaw (W/Uncle Zebakiah)

Sid wins by DQ after Bradshaw nails Sid with the cowbell. After the match, Sid fends off an attack from them and powerbombs Bradshaw AND Zebakiah. Sid looked like such a badass here and was way over. Sid wasn't that good of a wrestler, but he had charisma in spades and he was a lot of fun to watch.

DUD

Farooq Asad (W/Sunny) educates Ahmed on how talk properly when you come from the streets. He also says he's taking Ahmed's Intercontinental title.

Vader (W/Jim Cornette) Vs Marc Mero (W/Sable)

Vader wins after catching Mero and powerslaming him in mid-air. This was a bit sloppy at times but a decent match for television nonetheless. Vader needed the win more than Mero to be preserved as a monster.

**1/4

Jim Cornette cuts a fantastic promo on Jose Lothario. He tries to nail Lothario from behind with a tennis racket, and gets drilled by Lothario. While all of this is going on, Mankind assaults Shawn Michaels and applies the Mandible Claw, rendering him unconscious.

Thoughts: Shawn would face Mankind at the very next PPV at In Your House. Cornette was just magnificent here.

Aldo Montoya defeated Jerry Lawler on Superstars. Lawler issues a challenge for a rematch the following week on Raw. Montoya accepts.

The British Bulldog (W/Owen Hart) Vs Henry Godwin (W/Hillbilly Jim)

Godwin has the match won with the slopdrop, but Owen distracts Godwin, allowing Bulldog to pick up Godwin and powerslam him for the win. They made Davey Boy look so weak here. I'm not sure that was wise since he was being built up to face Sid at Summerslam.

*1/2

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin Vs The Undertaker (W/Paul Bearer)

Austin wins by countout after Undertaker leaves the ring to brawl with Mankind. The Undertaker gets some revenge after the match by hitting a tombstone on Austin. Even by countout, winning a match against The Undertaker in any fashion at this juncture is a big deal. However, the match is average. Austin and The Undertaker never had any true chemistry with each other.

**

The Undertaker briefly comments on his match with Mankind at Summerslam, and says he'll rest in peace.

5/10 overall.
