Nifty retrospective documentary

Warning: Spoilers
This 29-minute documentary covers a good deal of interesting and informative ground on the making of Robert Altman's "Streamers." Matthew Modine reveals that he learned from Altman that it's the actor's job to interpret the role and shares a great story about Altman having to do a second take on a particular scene because of a continuity issue involving dog tags. George Dzundza praises co-star Guy Boyd for his willingness to form a bond with him and notes that David Rabe's play deals with both the humanity and inhumanity of man. Moreover, we also learn that the film was shot in sequence over the course of three weeks, Altman financed the picture with his own money, and the cast rehearsed for two weeks prior to the shooting of the movie. Worth a watch for fans of the film.
