Fun Stormy caper comedy
lor_11 October 2017
Action comedies "Operation Desert Stormy" and "Operation Tropical Stormy" were two of Stormy Daniel's biggest hits for Wicked, and she returns to the light-hearted genre with "Pretty Dangerous". It's a light in tone picture featuring an all-star cast and impressive production values - nothing special but quality XXX entertainment.

Partnered with her frequently cast actor Brendon Miller, Stormy plays a thief out to get 5 rare jewels which reportedly when combined in a special box will mystically unlock "the secrets of the universe". She contacts three special agents to execute the plan: Violet (Wicked superstar Asa Akira), Rose (Anikka Albrite) and Lily (Allie Haze).

They are up against a comically blundering pair of Miami cops, with Steven St. Croix playing his character quite broadly, while his suffering new partner is essayed as straight man by Jack Vegas. Their police chief is acted by the movie's d.p. Jake Jacobs, and other NonSex roles are filled by crew members, like the great Kylie Ireland, handling art direction on the picture.

Globe-hopping settings were likely all doubled in the L.A. area, but Stormy's scenes set on a yacht, in the Sahara Desert and even an underwater search for one of the jewels in a pirate's treasure chest help to make "Pretty Dangerous" play like a real film. Wicked has sold censored versions of some of its films to Showtime and other pay-cable channels, and this one would have made a good time-killer shorn of its penetration and money shots.

Extraneous sex scenes abound, clearly the raison d'etre for any Wicked film, but the silly story scenes are pleasant enough to sit through. Movie ends on a cliff-hanger when the 5 mystical stones are assembled in the box, evidently designed to set up a possible sequel, though the down- market by 2015 for DVDs probably makes that prospect infeasible.

In the sex department Stormy is hot as usual humping Miller as well as having a lesbian liaison with Allie, while Albrite in particular is very sexy in her scene seducing a museum guard played by Mick Blue. Akira is of course the big name in the cast, but other than complaining about "racism" when she's chosen to be a fake masseuse to fool marks played by Chanel Preston and Seth Gamble (setting up a threesome), this is hardly a vehicle worthy of her talent.
