Excellent all-male oiler
lor_30 September 2015
This is one of the better boy/boy features in Nica Noelle's new career phase, cranking 'em out assembly-line style for the Icon Male label. The rub-a-dub format, which she previously used for many girl/girl and boy/girl videos, proves more conducive to the gay performers than Nica's more intense dramatic scripts.

Nica regular Adam Russo stars as lead massage therapist, introducing himself and the story premise directly to the camera. His massage parlor coordinates with a psychologist who sends closeted men to them to treat their secret sexual desires.

First client is Brent Corrigan, of whom Adam declares: "It's not going to take much to get the guy to break". Brent is a good Christian, college football player who responds to Adam's smooth talk and they have sex. Unusual for the genre, they hump each other rather than having a strict top/bottom division of labor. Nica's nicely established romantic mood is marred by shot of the boom mic at top of already masked (for widescreen) frame.

Second masseur Trenton Ducati tells us he gets to the point quickly with his clients: "Baptism by fire, baby". The victim is Josh, an actor "about to play the biggest role of his career - himself", per Trenton. In the DVD's Behind the Scenes bonus featurette Josh relates that his look of being terrified of Trenton's big cock was real, but he ends up taking it like a man.

Brandon Wilde (I assume the actor is a fan of "Shane") is a young masseur who specializes in young clients. This assertion is seemingly contradicted by servicing Cliff Jensen, a much-tattooed and muscular arrogant fellow. Both guys have big cocks and stay in character, with the highlight being Cliff denying he's gay but agreeing to a blow job by Brandon, saying "If I keep my eyes closed, I won't know the difference". Yet another example of Nica's clever script far outpacing the usual improvised gibberish of these videos.

Cliff looks like James van der Beek and turns into the dom, even spitting into Brandon's mouth as a power demo. He acts mean and rough throughout, even maintaining this stance after scene has ended, in the BTS short.

Russo returns for the finale to bring Mike DeMarko out of the closet. Mike's been married for 3 years but admits that his wife was the first person he ever slept with. Adam says to the viewer as an aside: "My job is to get to the bottom of it, no pun intended". Mike is plagued by dreams, growing distant from his wife. Both guys have big dicks, but Mike in the sack is not believable as an innocent -the effectiveness of the sex being all important here.

Overall feature is well-acted with arousing sex scenes. Comparing it to similar Nica massage efforts, the subliminal effect (perhaps the reason why Nica has turned to gay and transsexual cinema of late) is that people are people, sex is sex, and humping one's masseur or masseuse is not all that different after all, despite the ongoing ghettos that circumscribe behavior and in this case sales & marketing outlets for different "genres" of porn: straight vs. gay.

In the BTS, Adam Russo comically calls Nica "the new Woody Allen". I don't find that an apt comparison, but it is interesting in showing how the Woodman has escaped his original comedy pigeon-holing to be properly recognized by now as a master of interpersonal relationships in cinema, which is Nica's bag in a XXX mode.
