If you think soccer is for suckers and the worst human activity in the world, then you are right and should drop this movie, there are batter battles, even series on norwegian NRK-tv than this incoherent mess of a mash-up called 90 minutes, of 30TH division english football matching on a field in hackney, london, where it seems like all the divisions 32 teams are playing at the same pitch, and where the mums ,dads, lovers, sister grands and greatgrands stands screaming from the sideline. showin this film in an american theater would end in dept and bankruptcy, because the drama of the story are so missed and pointlessly made i think sir george best would have turned in his grave,RIP.

i will say no more than that i used to love football until i realised it was just a game of finding empty space, i go for the swimming, where the main issue is surviving, with a huge yawn from the grumpy old man.

Quirky, bold and moving!

Some sports films are more about winning and losing - and less about the genuine and amusing battles behind a unique match. A quirky, moving and bold comedy with a breathe of fresh air. The intelligence brought to bear in the performances and visuals, are just appropriate for a sport story that's as much about mental toughness, temperament, as it is physical skill.

This is Real Life, Hackney, Gants Hill, my manor as they say. And they mention the Best team on the planet , The Arsenal The acting is very good, mind you if this goes to the US, will need a dictionary to understand it.

And the language is a bit "fruity" but it's real life, go past Hackney Marshes on a Sunday and there are loads of games going on.

This is what football used to be "Real" not controlled by money and Billionaires, it was the People's game, Even Rio grew up in East London, this was his manor also.

It is a film that shows how sport and connect people (and divide them). There is real energy and honesty in the film that is a heroic effort for a low budget fil.
