I've just now watched the final episode of Motive, and I will miss it a lot. I discovered Motive only back in January 2024, and I started watching from early season two and now to the end. I must admit, I am kicking myself for accidentally deleting the first episode of season four, and yes I'm anguished, especially as I can't find it anywhere on the web so maybe one day I can find this episode to watch please. This series finale has kind of a reuniting of the Scooby Gang feel to it, with Lucas being recalled from Internal Affairs to re-investigate an old case. This episode is set three years later from the previous episode, so the make-up team did a decent job. It's a shame though that Roger Cross, Warren Christie, and Valerie Tian weren't brought back for this episode, because that would have made the reunion more complete. I already miss Motive, and I really hope it can come back, as it deserves a new lease of life.
