This is another of my favorite episodes from the show, the theme in this episode isn't about dating but the importance of simply being oneself.

It's your basic story on the boy that is on a quest for coolness but gets all the wrong ideas about it when he gets in with an in-crowd whom consist of hip hop or boy band wannabes which just further hammers in the irony.

This becomes worse when he tries to get advice about dating girls once he asks one out and of course he consults with his in-crowd who are the worst advisors of it. Boy probably should have asked himself what they know about girls as none of them have one themselves and it's not hard to see why.

I like the musical numbers as it consists of two of my favorite songs in the show. One which is "I want to be a Rebel" I really like the in sync dance routine they were all doing. The song is both catchy but also funny because it's a song supposed to be about being rebels but their all being the opposite as their all being assembly line robots as each of them look, act, and move alike, all traits in which a rebel isn't as being a rebel is about being your own person.

The other is "I only want to be me" which is just beautiful, it's the kind of song that I love to listen whenever I feel down as it's simply a song about the beauty of just being yourself.

The dating is funny as is made out to be a boxing match, man who'd of thought dating could be a dangerous sport, that might not be too far off as there is risk involved in dating. Anyway, as we see the first round and it sort of goes alright, the guy gets a few good punches until he decides to be cheap which is always a deadly sin in dating and the girl gets the upper hand.

But then of course the comedy ends once the guy gives the girl several low blows by insulting her hair and character, all to make himself look cool. The guy we see has committed the biggest cardinal sin in dating which was involving and imposing his own ego. This makes the girl feel down, however she recovers because she allows herself to be herself; it's sort of like what Dell says on "Planes, Trains and Automobiles" "I like me, my customers like me, and I'm not changing." And that's exactly why she wins the match, and the guy gets his butt kicked losing the girl and worst of all proved to himself why he's not cool.

Being yourself is what truly makes a person cool and is what a good girl/guy truly wants.

Rating: 4 stars.
