Mary Says Goodnight is a movie about a young woman who is going insane (or on one hell of a drug trip) and is presented as though you are watching and listening to her write in her diary. The eerie music and suspenseful plot really hook you, as more and more details of Mary's insanity or mental condition are revealed as the movie progresses, leading up to a rather surprising ending. Obviously a low budget production, but carefully done and well edited. Some of the camera work is pretty creative and the story itself is borderline trippy. Looks like this is the beginning work for the writers/producers so it will be interesting to see what future movies by these guys turn out like. I wished there was maybe a little more action or twists and turns in the movie but for an investment of less than 10 minutes I thought it was worth the time, not to mention it's available for free on YouTube.
