After the terrible fourth episode a truly good episode again

Warning: Spoilers
So far I liked this/the fifth episode best, especially after the horrible fourth episode (I considered stopping to watch watching the fourth episode, but gave it another chance and the fifth episode put me back on track). I mainly disliked about the fourth episode the sub story about the injured lady threatening to sue the family's (former) company, I thought esp. after Boston etc. etc. it was just distasteful. It was a lot to stomach the psychopathic boy torturing the poor cat in the former episodes, but the boy + the fourth episode-subplot was too much to take in. But I really liked the siblings getting together and caring for Cam in the fifth episode. I (usually) like Justin Chatwin a lot and I do like Cam a lot (why the hate for Cam? Except for a bad taste in women and not doing anything about his Antichrist-like son, he is not a bad guy). I also liked the subplot with Maddie's mother (I am no fan of Maddie's, but she did a smart move in this episode to reveal her mother's true intentions, well played! And it was nice of her to open up to Cam as well). Hoping the following episodes will be like the fifth and less like the fourth episode I will keep watching.
