Queens Of The Stone Age is without a doubt one of the best and most influential live rock bands of the 00 and 10's. This concert film proves why the band has that reputation. From beginning to end the band take the viewer on a journey through the bands heavy and psychedelic stoner rock music. Josh Homme is the anti-hero of the film, with slick red hair, downtuned guitar strumming and white elvis shoes, but the rest of the band is cool as hell as well. Especially tattoed drummer Joey Castillo beat the drums like they owe him 1 million dollars. The live concert is mixed with fragments of video from tour, interviews, wolf and sheep masks, dark London alleys and psychedelic visuals. For anyone who says rock n roll music is dead; watch this film, Queens proves it is alive and well. It thrives in the desert of southern California.
