The Beat Goes On!
Hitchcoc2 September 2023
Warning: Spoilers
There are a couple issues here. First of all the search for the woman who could assist in Bailey's defense comes to an end, tragically. Also, he has 30 days before he is executed. Rachel doesn't have a clue what to do. Mike continues to try to persuade Kevin to work out a deal. He even gets the guy's wife to come in under false pretenses, further alienating the guy, keeping the real culprit free and doing his thing. But even worse Harvey's coup falls apart because of third party decisions. On a positive note, Louis has to make a major decision when it comes to a relationship with that woman, putting his "I have to have it right now!" ego aside. I really hope we are almost done with Mike in prison. It's interesting, I've never seen such a laissez faire prison. The inmates sit around, read books, travel all over the place. He has a perpetual walk in thing going with that counselor.

The Series Once Known as Suits

Warning: Spoilers
When I started watching this series back in Season 1, I stayed with it because the dynamic between Mike and Harvey was extremely entertaining. I liked Mike's intellectual genius and Harvey's ability to close deals with a fraud attorney at a prestigious NYC firm. It was a cool idea that worked extremely well until it didn't, which brings me to NOW: Season 6, Shake the Trees. Nothing whatsoever about Mike being in prison is interesting. He is separated from the core group that reinvented television chemistry and is, for all intents and purposes, left for dead. Now all the ridiculous subplots and what not to fill in the vast spaces otherwise filled with Mike and Harvey are a waste of time to watch because they are BORING. No longer do I care about anything but getting the original team together. I have fast-forwarded so much I'm developing tendinitis. To get back on track the writers must spring Mike pronto, then have him reunited with Harvey and company as a "consultant" or whatever, and pay him a fortune. Call him anything you like. Just let him practice law and do what he does best so we can all go back to watching the two of them kick ass. Then I'll stop fast-forwarding through all the filler.
