After the dramatic high points of the opener, the second is a little more subdued in terms of action, but it's the strength of characters that continues to grow and impress. It's turning into a bit of a whodunit, who exactly kidnapped Jody and why? Why was Nelly beaten up, why has his best mate Melon been speaking to The Police, and why's he hiding from them? Whys is Tam treating him so well, any guilty secrets?
I got a little confused at times, I couldn't quite work out why Nelly was beaten up, and if the women he was seeing were aware of one another, but the story is definitely building, and it's grabbed my attention, I am intrigued to know what happens next.
Lennie James terrific once again. Jason Flemyng also, almost unrecognisable, but fantastic.
7/10
