A good episode along the line of most of the others in this series. The episode opens with an armed robbery aboard an in-flight plane, following which the robber "Dan Cooper" parachutes out. In the course of the ensuing investigation we learn a lot about fathers, past and present, good and not-so-good.
Although the episode has nothing to do with the D.B. Cooper mystery from the 1970s, other than the in-flight robbery and the parachuting, the name "Dan Cooper" is apparently as a throw-away reference, since no one else seems to have noticed.
