After 13 years....
ThomasInParis30 March 2018
After 13 years, and quite the bumpy road, Supernatural can still amaze its viewers and have new and innovative narratives. I would advice even non-aficionados of the series to watch this episode. Funny, well written, well animated, well dubbed, I can't seem to find a real drawback to this episode. Congratulations to the entire cast & crew for this trip down memory lane Supernatural style!

Amazing Episode!

I just can't think of any other tv series that would even think about making such a curveball episode, let alone make it.

Such a great fusion of classic scooby doo and contemporary cartoon humour and Supernatural wit.

Just a joy to watch from start to finish. Supernatural is at it's best when it goes all meta. Can't wait for next season's special episode.

Great episode thanks to scooby

Scooby Doo makes everything great. Bring back a darker version of Scooby Doo. We need movies like Zombie Island.

This was actually pretty awesome
Kingslaay4 April 2018
When I had first heard of a cross over with Scooby Doo I feared for the worst. I thought this show would sink to a low, go down to a level it cannot bring itself out of. Taking a supernatural drama and animating it with a beloved children's favourite was risky to say the least.

The episode was a success. Supernatural managed to retain the elements that make this show and fit it into a Scooby dimension. It wasn't cheesy or silly, it was Supernatural as usual and with a twist. The Winchesters saved the gang and spared them from the harsh realities of their world. And hey who can resist Daphne?

I get the idea that majority of the fans are female or perhaps the loudest but there a few of us males out there who are huge fans too. I love the great story lines, the supernatural elements, the wholesomeness of the show and the family side to it. Not to mention a great taste in music.

I'm glad the show retained its essence and if it can do that then it can crossover into any universe and be great.

Amazing!

As a fan of Scooby all my life and huge fan of Supernatural they did an amazing job with this! I am so happy right now! Hope they do this again! For the haters out there that all complain about Dean chasing after a cartoon girl get over it! Sam is The Who kisses a cartoon or should I say got kissed by one! Scooby-Doo was my favorite! Best line was by Dean " I would take a bullet for that dog"!

Definitely one of my favorite episodes!
desiinurface30 March 2018
I love how Supernatural was incorporated into Scooby Doo and vice versa! It was awesome how they were able to do this, bringing all the characters together perfectly! I would definitely love to see another crossover like this, but I am definitely going to be watching this at least 10-20 times! My favorite line from the show was, "Sam, Dean. That dog is talking." Oh Castiel

Naturally Scoobies

Warning: Spoilers
This is the quintessential culmination of Supernatural of all the complexities and humor thrown into a delicious soup of story telling and fun , that is the mark of great show to pay homage where it is due. Like previous shows of horror, SciFi , think Buffy the Vampire Slayer(1996-2004), think X-Files(1993-) all were either called called "Scoobies", or wrote about that all of the shows all had comparison to the Scooby Doo Gang, now Supernatural (2005-) now follows in the true showmanship of great shows. Homage to their beginnings. Sam , Dean and Castiel are full of deadpan humor and over the top laughs play along with the Scoobies whom now seem to be in real danger of "cartoon death". I have been a fan of thie show since it's beginning and look forward to more fun and hijinks! Bravo guys!

The episode rocks. They nailed it, it was way too cooler than any other. Mixes light humour with mystery creating the classic Scooby-Doo style and then there's the Supernatural thrill and horror touch. Simply the best!

I love scooby doo, i don't remember the cartoon anymore but i do remember the movies. What an amazing amazing achievement in tv history. It was so much fun. I found the ghost bit to not be too interesting but everything else was perfection.

good, but not great

I understand that ScoobyNatural is bringing something. 'new' into the show, but it doesn't necessarily a great thing. This episode is currently #2 on top rated epsiode of Supernatural (above Baby ???? really???????). I'm not saying it's a bad episode, i'm just saying it's getting all the exaggerated attention

I Wanted to Like This
marmar1322 January 2021
Let me preface this by saying: I love the weird and wacky episodes of Supernatural (Mystery Spot, Changing Channels, Bad Day at Black Rock, Fan Fiction, etc.). I have no problem with the concept of a Scooby Doo crossover.

In theory, I should love it. It's got a fight with a dinosaur costume in the first minute. It's got the big reveal of the "Dean Cave." It's got a wild premise. But the writers made it gross and weird.

The Scooby Gang are teenagers, and at least half the jokes in this episode are about Dean wanting to sleep with Daphne, or Velma having a crush on Sam. It's completely unnecessary, and maybe it wouldn't have seemed as bad back in the first few seasons, but the brothers are pushing 40. We've seen how they interact with actual teenage girls now, and it's not like perverts. It's like father figures. Heck, half the plot of this season is them trying to get their surrogate son Jack back. Choices were made in the development of this episode, and they weren't good ones.

There are still some highlights. Cas, who is just done with this nonsense, gets several good lines and a cartoon action sequence that I won't spoil. And the moments of the Scooby Gang experiencing existential crises are wonderfully demented. I just can't give this episode a good rating because it made me feel unclean.

Fantastic Episode!
everettgamer31 March 2018
When I heard about Sam and Dean meeting the Scooby gang, I knew I had to watch, and I was not disappointed, as this episode exceeded my expectations. This episode can be described in one word: Brilliant! What will be next, the Winchester boys meeting Carl Kolchak, the original Night Stalker? Love to see that happen! I hope the writers follow up this episode with another run-in between the Winchesters and the Scooby gang.

Freaking Hilarious
raeaess4 June 2018
I've been watching Supernatural since it started my junior year of high school. The show has had plenty of great episodes and a few boring or dull ones. I didn't think an episode could top the Hollywood one where Dean learns he played on Days of Our Lives. This episode just about tops that. I laughed so hard I cried. It was unreal watching two different shows from two different time periods come alive together. This episode was outstanding and left me smiling. A nice happy goofy episode in another dark storyline. Love love love it. Bravo and job well done! Hands down, it's freaking awesome!

Great episode. There is something really satisfying seeing something from my childhood reworked with danger, dead bodies and sexual innuendo.

The show has outdone itself this time!

Best episode in a long time.
garabedian1234 April 2018
Im not a big fan of scooby doo. but this episode was pretty great. And surprisingly more gory than any supernatural episode i have seen, which was great. THe only thing that could have made this episode better was if Dean hooked up with Daphne. Oh and resetting scooby doo was a mistake. SHould have turned them into Hunters...that would have been a more suitable end for an out of date cartoon show.

Best episode ever!!!!
lumberjackson-japan21 April 2018
I love this show especially on episodes like this where they have amazing fun without taking things too seriously. I LOVE Scooby-doo and was fangirling alongside Dean the whole time. This is obviously filler, but in the best way. I need more of this in my life!!!

Lots of laughs, more great Supernatural innovation!

Your show obviously has *lots* of life left in it - so unique compared to the others!

Thanks!

Sadly Disappointed
kmcg2731 March 2018
First, before anyone jumps all over me for not liking the episode, I've watched Supernatural since it first premiered. I have stuck with the through all it's ups and downs. But I found this to be, in my opinion, the worst episode of them all. I found it cringey and boring. I love Scooby Doo and I love Supernatural...... Just not together...
