Jack Lemmon Stars!
boblipton5 December 2021
All right, he's uncredited, but then so is everyone else in this short training film, urging servicemen not to ignore ordinary safety precautions while on leave. Jack's role is shot wild, and some sound effects added later, but he's instantly recognizable, not only by his looks, but that jittery energy he showed in his early films. He later said it was his first substantial part.

At least Lemmon is present. Constance Ford is credited on the IMDb as a bar girl, but that sequence was excised from the print I looked at.

Starring Jack Lemmon!

Warning: Spoilers
Some of our greatest stars got their movie start in the most inconspicous ways but its hard to believe the legendary Jack Lemmon got his humble beginnings in a humerous military training film as Mike a service person on leave who leaves his common sense behind unfortunately. He has guardian angels watching over him and they work overtime deserving hazardous duty pay! Mike misses his train and hitches a ride with a drunk driver he also falls asleep while smoking in bed. Aterwards it seems that he indulges in every wrong choice and stupid behavior imaginable. Jack Lemmon is uncredited in this film but he gets to show his great comic skills and intensity and if you were watching this film when it first came out you would sense he had a great career ahead of him.
