Carlos and Elisa take a trip to Patagonia to search for Pía Landa who confirms Carlos's darkest suspicions. Rufino intercedes before Rocha to get Adán out of jail. Police forces hit hard on the San Marcos movement.
Adán plans a risky move to catch Rocha's attention. Carlos gains access to his father's murder file and discovers something that brings him closer to the truth.
Adan condemns the infiltration of crime inside the San Marcos movement without regard for the consequences. On his part, Carlos starts grasping Rocha's perverse game. Gathered together after a long time, Carlos, Adán and Elisa make peace.

Rocha wins the party's primaries and is appointed as presidential candidate while Adán has to cope with an unexpected death. Carlos finds the smoking gun that confirms all his suspicions about his father's death.
Rocha knows that Carlos is after him and decides to act accordingly. Adán, Carlos, Elisa and América meet again at Rufino's memorial service. Each carrying their own guilts and truths and facing a more than uncertain future ahead of them.
