Ivanna is supposedly a professional flamenco dancer based in London returning for a short visit to Caracas. She is scheduled for three performances in a club. Any potential viewer who wants to see some flamenco is warned that there is no actual flamenco dancing in this film. Ivanna is instructed to meet a man named Vicente at the club, this is easy as he is drawn to her image on a poster advertising her performance. Vicente being a good social dancer, they go out in the floor and immediately bond. The bulk of the film is a slow exposition of their short love affair. There is much smoking, not just tobacco, which is strange for a professional dancer. But all is not what it seems, politics and corruption in Venezuela intercedes.
