There were some good action moments in this episode, you can always count on a Joss Whedon show to give you that, but to be honest it was another really boring one from a storyline perspective. I am tired of every move being talked about as "the end of the world". Watching an episode of SHIELD should not be like listening to a HuffPo contributor discussing the political landscape.

But this episode where Mae is robins mother is wonderful goosebumps and my eye leaked a bit. It was good stuff it was emotionally avid within a show That's depth why is it much more than skin deep this had emotional depth.

I enjoyed this episode a lot, it is mostly set up for the mid-season finale, which in that regard it's disappointing because AoS has a history of amazing episodes right before the mid-season! so while this episode is not on that level to me it serves a different purpose, showing the humans have the smaller victory yet underlying that they are being set up to lose the war. There is also a lot of subtle foreshadowing to the next big twist coming, it's always fun when you go back and find the clues were all over the place and you missed them!
I would have loved more anti-gravity scenes, but I understand the budget probably doesn't allow for it! regardless, Daisy vs. Sinara round 2 was just as awesome as round one. oh and I'm loving Fitzsimmons just being a power couple, they are so cute together!
The season is great, but the editing in this episode is not very good.

The plot of the episode is really good, but some of the acting falls flat. The cringiest scene in the whole episode is when Mack & Yo-Yo foil Kasius' plan and Kasius starts yelling in anger. As he does, the camera starts shaking uncontrollably. Had the camera started vibrating instead of shaking, or shake less dramatically, then maybe it'd be okay, but the way it shakes looks like it was done by a YouTube editor.
