Insightful and Historical facts and evidence
artfilmcritic1 June 2020
The documentary narrates and provides historical facts on America's Immigration policies that kept changing over time and it's earlier attempt to create a better race. A must watch personal and political documentary. Insightful.

The truth

I always knew the feelings my family had for Ellis Island and I also thought I knew why. They felt that the building should be burned down and the ground sown with salt. My Great Grand Mother, Grand Mother and her sister my Aunt were held in quarantine for 30 days for possible smallpox infection. After viewing this film I now fully understand their feelings. The treatment of the immigrants from the east and southern Europe was demeaning, disgraceful, and shows a racism that was deepest in this country and still persists.
