Quite Thought Provoking

A soldier lies in an English hospital, badly injured. In the same room is an older man who tries to fill in the cracks in the guy's memory. The problem is that the soldier is fighting one war/the other guy is referring to a different war. The conclusion had that sort of Rod Serling sense to it. Very nicely done.

The freshness of a smart story about war defines this short film. the minimalism is the basic tool. and the frame for the discover, step by step, of truth. a film about a room, two men and the appearances. admirable for story and for performances. remembering a theater play. being a warning. about the fragile frontier between fiction and reality. it is just support for reflection. about theories and about personal truths, about the come back in a different reality. about experiences. and about the war from a book against the war who you live. and not the film itself, after its end, remains in memory. but the state who has it as root. about fears, certitudes. and wars.
