Warning: Spoilers
CRAZY MISSION is an extremely low budget Taiwanese action flick and an entry in the 'heroic bloodshed' genre of filmmaking. The plot involves little more than a trio of young guys going up against various drug-smuggling villains in a bid to catch the main gangster behind them. It's almost a plotless affair, instead a string of action scenes which are frenetic and energetic but also slapdash and a little bit silly. Check the warehouse shoot-out at the climax; this is hardly John Woo. What does elevate it is a string of supporting roles from various genre luminaries: Billy Chow, Tai Bo, Chiang Tao, Kara Hui, Ku Feng and Dick Wei are all very welcome presences and it's a shame they're not in a better movie.
