I'm really hoping Abby (the actress that plays her) is pregnant and they had to come up with some plot line that allows her to take leave the for the beginning of the second season because her leaving for Ireland really through me for a loop!

It sucked that Abby had to leave to early on in the series

To be honest, I hoped that Abby would stay around for at least 2 more seasons, but unfortunately, her time on the show was cut to only 10 episodes. It wasn't until the season 3 finale that we would see her again, and even that's not addressed. Disappointed to see Abby leave this early in the series.
