This episode was spectacular. The pacing was dynamic and we learned so much about the characters. All if their Christmas stories were emotional and painfully relatable. There were moments of fear, comedy, anxiety, and sadness. The climatic scene in the Chinese food restaurant was the best one yet. It brought me to tears!

Pose was less about superficial posing and dealt a little more on the personal lives of the various characters.

Aids/HIV certainly was a heavy factor at that time affecting characters Pray Tell as he visits someone close to him in hospital.

Elecktra also visits a hospital but it is for possible gender re-assignment surgery. Something that has not been raised by the trans characters before. It is Christmas time and Elektra certainly has a novel way to raise funds for her surgery. I doubt Santa would approve.

Stan meanwhile has issues with his wife Patty. She suspects he has a girlfriend thanks to his boss Matt now showing his more slimy side.

Angel is ecstatic that Stan has got her an apartment but Christmas is spent with the House of Evangelista rather than Stan.

Angel does not like Christmas presents. She recalls a story from the Christmas past. Sorry Angel your sad story about Christmas horrors are no match of Phoebe Cates from Gremlins.
