I watch these shows mainly for their provocative titles and curiosity about how sick the world is, Ellie seems a nice person, but this type of stuff for me is just beyond fake.
It seems now that people just look for shocking crimes or causes just to exploit to get a bit of fame out of it, they do a bit of uni and think theyre sherlock holmes. These are the same type of activists that hound social media, but as soon as money or attention goes, they just look for the next thing to moan about. Anything bad is a problem. Looking for grim things in this world to exploit for 15 minutes of fame is just as sad as what they do.
Theres never any resolution, the excuse is always the same, awareness, lets clarify that awareness is actually pretty pointless, people being aware of something doesnt mean they can suddenly help or do anything to better a conversation, its just like reading an article in a paper, it doesnt change you, you just know something new.
Words doesnt equal hope or change, only action does, these shows are all just fake drama by someone looking to be the next dooley or get some fame, she clearly doesnt care in the least, theres no follow up no police, it just ends.
