The film is inspired by H. P. Lovecraft and made in Canada. We see several subplots happening. A fallen pastor, people in a hut (in t-shirts) in the middle of winter, and two groups at a restaurant. One group consists of two young couples going to their parent's cabin and one is not quite a couple. There is also a group of three businessmen going on a retreat. They have a tussle in the restaurant, but no fists. They both go driving down the road and run out of gas. The lines have been cut Going out for gas they are confronted by a Drude, an ancient evil that looks like an all gray rubber baboon face. The special effects are bad.
The Drude is explained later. Acting bad. M'Kay. Special effects. Bad. M'Kay. The script was bad. M'Kay. The dialogue was on the light side and might pass for humor in some Great White North circles.
