What a build up to the conclusion.

Shaun learns the pretty incredible truth of what he's caught up in, we learn just how far up the chain the deception goes.

After what I thought was a muddled opening, this came together in remarkable style, a complex and multi layered plot was made cohesive and logical, it was even quite simple to understand, which is surprising.

This was the episode I had expected to come in the next and final part, this felt like the conclusion, so I am baffled as to what is coming next.

The cast are once again, flawless, all involved were terrific. Callum Turner is destined for big things clearly.

A Pilgrim of Justice

Warning: Spoilers
The penultimate episode and it came together in a way I did not expect.

Emery finally learns the truth as to why he was selected. It was a plan by his barrister Hannah Roberts and others to show how CCTV images can be manipulated. Hannah knew terrorist suspects have been fitted up this way.

DI Rachel Carey fathomed this during her own investigations. She now knows how closely British and American security services have been involved.

The episode shows what really did happen to Hannah. It's the usual excuse to 'protect the greater good' so let us start by killing all the people that irritate us.

I actually did like the way the story went and how Emery was really being set up as a patsy.
