On the subway home many people get on and Ji-an has to put her face in his chest. He tenses and looks away and tries to help her without touching her. She installs a spy app on his phone.

The brothers hang out at a laundromat and the owner talks of his upset wife. She is upset her husband went from a good job to working in laundry. The brother solemnly walks telling his brother that one day their mom will die, his other brother will get married and he will end up being lonely and poor.
