No doubt supergirl needs to improve and it is improving with each season but still its far below the level of arrow. I don't have huge expectations from supergirl while i m watching it but still i want to watch this because this is cute show. Its a fun show and i never get bored of it even though it is number 4 in my list of arrowverse below arrow , flash and legends . Honestly i liked supergirl season 3 more than the flash season 4. Now As for this premier , it was typical supergirl premier. Not so good not so bad just like last 3 seasons. And i m so curious about this other kara i hope she will be the part of the show for whole season .. Lets see how it goes and as i said , even though its not a great show it still a good show and it doesnt deserve bad rating of 1/10 , 2/10 etc. So those who rate it 1 ,2 should just stop watching it instead of tarnishing its image by putting up some really immature reviews here ...

I believe this episode was a good kick starter for the new series. We see a lot of characters figuring themselves and we definitely see Supergirl becoming stronger through her character after everything she's been through. We see Alex taking control of the DEO. I felt like tonight's episode was somewhat anti-climatic but it was needed to be put out there because we needed that domestic news and the knowledge of how the world reacted of aliens and we see what Supergirl's world is all about. I'm excited to what will come next of Supergirl this season!

Although they are bringing back the anti-alien plotline, it does feel warranted. It was originally mostly the extremist group, but now that the president has been revealed as an alien, it's really going to hit the fan with Supergirl having to deal with a racist public in general.

Liked Kara mentoring someone like her, and J'onn taking a path of piece. Though I'll miss Winn, Brainiac 5 is shaping up to be a nice replacement.

Am disappointed in them still stretching out the Lena Lang moral ambiguity and her relationship with her mother. Lilian still doesn't add much. In fact, all the xenophobic villains in this episode are poorly written and acted, especially Mercy Graves.

Also with the introduction of face masking technology, I'm disappointed that we'll see less alien makeup this season. I thought they had some nice designs before.

I really liked it was a great movie thank you very much make a beautiful movie and leave a lot of comments my favorite person is alex danvers.

I get this show like to use politics but this whole episode just had me bummed out. And some of the writing was plain stupid. Why would a highly intelligent government agency bring a helicopter to stop an EMP? And why were the secret service agents so terrible at their job? They came to a complete stop when the bad guys came in shooting at the president when all they had to do was shove her into the vehicle. But what did I expect. If every character could be smart and good at their jobs then the writers would actually have to their's.

I kind of remember from school that there are certain requirements to be the President of the United States.......... I get this is fiction, but come on.
