Finally curfew starts to expand the cast a little, by filling in details on some of the other racers who have only been background characters up to this point. In this case, Team Awesome. Seen at the end of the last episode and looking in that scene as if they were going to be rather bad. But there's far more to them than that. Their origin story, filled in via the four year earlier flashbacks this week, turns out to be both as crazy as the show has needed to get from the off. And yet it's also interestingly thought provoking with it. Grindhouse philosophy! who knew? Coupled with one delightfully good fight scene and some more action, this is really starting to click. The soundtrack is interestingly electic as well. I shall be with this till the finish. Although be aware it does use one novelty song I had long since forgotten, and now it's on my again. Agh!
