Impossible not to like this episode, it was incredible from the beginning to the end, I cried a lot for the departure of Brianna, Roger and Jemmy but they do not seem to have landed in the future ... ..Claire is in great danger at the end, I'm afraid of the rest but I also can't wait to see the last episode

What an emotional roller coaster!

This episode was so sad on so many levels. Had tears throughout the entire show. What a tour de force by the entire cast. The episode was written by Diana Gabaladon, the master author, so it absolutely shone!

Such a beautiful episode. Great family moments. DG had me crying the whole episode. Just loved it. So sad to see Bri and Roger go back threw the stones. Can't wait for next week. Such a shocking cliff hanger.

Diana has done a wonderful job. Lots of little details here and there, Gabaldon's little attention as we like! It was a most thrilling and exhilarating and above all moving episode. Actions, dramas, fantasy, love, EVERYTHING. This is Outlander. Nothing to add...

He can travel...
silvijapalosek6 May 2020
This was a deeply felt episode. When it finished I burst in tears. Is it just me or this season's whole tone was sad and wistful? I cried in nearly half the episodes. They truly nail the emotional part and it gets me every time. That ending scene was EPIC.

Also, LJG was a cameo actor this season and I truly want him to have a more significant role in the next one. He just pops up out of nowhere every once in a while, but it is always a delight to see him. And also, Jemmy boy is the cutest little actor ever!!

A rollercoaster of Emotion

Warning: Spoilers
I was stunned..the cast, the performances were brilliant from the support staff through to the main characters. We saw what was lacking, the dynamic between Jamie and John, great to see him again.. the threat of impending war.. the relationship between the family members, and young Ian now in the trust of all and with Claire, Jamie, Bree and Rodger now able to become open and honest. I was in tears a few times and that is all I ask of a great show.

Amazing episode!!

Such an emotional moving episode! I love young Ian!!!!! The scene in which he learned the truth was so good! I only wish it was longer! Much longer! I would have loved to see him ask all the questions he had and hear the whole story!!! I hope to learn more about what happened to him with the Mohawks. I also love Lord John Gray! He is an exceptional character!! Great acting of everyone! I loved the intimate scene between Jamie and Claire!!! We barely had any of them this season. This episode had a little bit of everything! So great!!

I watched last night and can't stop crying ... It was sad on every level. It was beautiful family feelings, Lord John and Jamie's son, Bree, Roger and the stones. The music, scenes. Poor Claire ... Poor Jamie!

Not sure why they had to wait so long, and the decision of the rock feeling feels forced, but this show is getting good at the end. Big drama and another cliffhanger ending.

Boo! Not a fan of the ending!
sonicgeekette3 May 2020
Warning: Spoilers
While I was okay with them bringing Young Ian back early in the season, and with them keeping Duncan Lecroix around for Murtagh until the Battle of Alamance, I'm not okay with the mixing of the storylines from books 5 and 6. They did it in the last episode with Bonnet's death, and now they've done it again with Claire's abduction at the end of the episode. They missed their chance to pull in more characters from the 5th book that play a major part in Claire and Jamie's story, such as the Christies. I think it's cool that they have Marsali in as Claire's apprentice, she's a strong character, and I love the actress who plays Marsali, she's a real spitfire, but bring in Malva! There was some real drama with that one! I liked this episode right up to the point where Brianna and Roger decide to leave. I gave this episode 3 stars because of the acting, otherwise I would have given it 1 star, as I feel so strongly about the mixed story lines between the books. The scenes with Caitriona and Sophia were heart wrenching - I miss my own daughter when I see those two together. And it's always a treat to see David Berry (Lord John). I especially enjoyed watching the chemistry between David and Sophia, and David and Sam.

I'm paying for the Starz app for my iPad just so I can get up early on Sunday mornings and watch this show, and you are ruining it for me! Bring back the Outlander that I loved, this season is not working for me!

In making the story move along, Diana wrote an episode that concentrate s on the family. Very well done. Only thing I missed was Mandy being born before the MacKenzies go thru the stones.

What a ride!
rlh-900457 May 2020
This epic film takes the viewer on a journey through emotions of happiness, sorrow, sensuousness, and hatred. They also have moments of humor, which breaks things up nicely. The timing of these emotions is beautifully written. The actors portrayal is perfection.

Great!

This is the "Outlander" I miss. Simply a perfect chapter. Emotions, confrontations, bluntly, that real fear waiting the worst thing for our dearing characters, knowing nothing, not 100% predictable.

11 eps in and only now is s5 worth watchin Warning: Spoilers
The first great episode of s5. The angst and sadness at the separation, the acceptance that it is the right thing to do, the hope that happy lives will be led and the wonder at what might be. Just a shame we had to wait until e11.

This should be the season finale!
viniciusvalentim19 June 2020
All hooks for the following events were left at the end of this episode and could be worked on next season. The last episode totally disappointed as a finale.

Jamie Is Mad
bellajean-427173 May 2020
Warning: Spoilers
It was slow & mundane not at all that exciting. I thought with Diana writing it, it would be much better but it lacked the rest of the follow through. I would like to see just one Episode where Cait/Claire is NOT crossing her arms looks like she is pissed at everyone. #SamHeughan continues to deliver 100%plus he is the Heart & Soul of #Outlander John Bell was very good in this Episode as well. The Ending was great when Jamie lit the Cross with such passion & the Warrior in him.

A Tilt-a-Whirl of emotion. My eyes and nose ran like faucets.
Gollum_Garden4 May 2020
Diana Gabadon made me cry so much that 30 minutes in I became dehydrated and my electrolytes got out of whack. My husband found me passed out on the couch. After drinking an entire gallon of Gatorade I was able to continue watching. But of course Diana had me bawling again, my nose all clogged and running so much I couldn't breathe and was gasping for air. Thank you DG for the beautiful epsisode! I will watch it over and over again.
