This was a very disappointing documentary. The producers appeared to be taking advantage of Mary Kay Letourneau's interviews as this documentary represented Mary Kay Letourneau being totally immature as if she was a 14 year old girl, and not the middle aged woman she is today, constantly giggling into the interviewers camera lens.
I understand that in some countries marriage and/or consensual sex between minors and adults is legal but it is not in the USA. If you were to poll 100 people males and females, I am quite sure the consensus would be 100 percent in favor of locking the former teacher Mary Kay Letourneau up for a very long time for the two counts of felony second-degree rape of a child, her 12-year-old student, Vili Fualaau.
There is no redeeming value in this documentary. We see Mary reading some fan letters condoning her inappropriate sexual acts which was even more disgusting.
What good can come from this strange and illegal relationship is just some mixed up children when they grow into their own adulthood. Or maybe Mary Kay and Vili will experience what it is like in a dozen years or so when their own 12 year old daughters are (consensually?) raped by their own male teachers and become pregnant under the pretense of having fallen in love like their own parents did. Just sad!
I give this documentary a 3 out of 10 rating
