Blunt and brash music video that sends a grim message.

In 1989 rock metal band Skid Row had a crossover top 40 pop hit song called " 18 and Life", and the music video goes along so well with the words. The video showing a doomed and sad life of one Ricky a teen who's abused at home by his alcoholic dad, resorts to the life of the streets, drugs, and guns as escape. Only violence and the bottle leads him to end it for his best friend. Plus the video is outspoken and direct showing Ricky doing time in a prison cell. The scenes and messages sent shows and proves when making bad choices, having no home life, and committing violence lead to a young life going to prison for life. Good song and strong video that sends a message.
