I enjoyed very much this journey in Algeria: beautiful landscapes and nice ncounters.
So many interesting aspects of this country: the beaches in the summer (Ahmed the beach umbrellas man, the families and the tourists), the casbah of Algiers (the garbage collector with his donkey, the carpenter and the artists who give a new life to the place), the port of Bouharoun (the grilled sardines, the fish auction), the Ténès Cape (the flora, the snorkeling and the diving), the young Algerian women and the sports (the jogging, the boxing and the judo), Oran and the raï singers (the night concerts and Cheb Mehdi l'Oranais).
I enjoyed the encounters of Raphaël with Malya Saadi (the casbah), with Hacène Saadi (the painter , oud player and singer), with Nura Atoui (the little palace), with Jasmina Sellam (the stuffed grape leaves), with Mohamed Tikarrouchine (the Tipaza ruins and the excursion to the Chenoua mountain) with Djelloul Essaheli (the wood sculptor), with Abdel Kader Lagraa and his family in Mostaganem (the windsurfing and the crepes), with Rachid Megharti (the educator of Oran), with Nassim Boukli (the tailor of Tlemcen)and with the bride and the groom (the wedding in Tlemcen): very nice encounters with very kind Algerian men and women.
