OMG I've just watched The Heist. I nearly had a coronary. Delighted for the 2 Lads. Hope they enjoy their cash.

Started off okay but as it went on you could tell it was all fixed !

Why did they bother putting so much effort into hiding the "loot" when they literally gave themselves up when no real evidence once questioned?

Wasn't a bad idea but could've been done a lot better in my opinion.

For a show that's entirely about pulling off a "heist", there's very little to really enjoy here. First of all, the prep of the heist (arguably the most important part of the show) is quite literally a 5-10 minute segment which has no logic or planning involved, and more along the lines of "I have binnoculors so ill be a good lookout" and "I can put them money in the bags because im so calm and collected"... Which swiftly moves on to the heist itself within the first quarter of the first episode, when the entire team all sits in a graveyard next to eachother (defeating the point of a lookout altogether) and speaking to eachother on radio's to inform the group that although they are next to eachother, the lookout has eyes on the van.

Not to mention many ridiculous inconsistencies in regards to any form of realism, such as the Cash in Transit stopping for a breakfast at 7am and leaving the van on an entirely different street. A dogwalker appearing next to it and showing an unatural amount of interest himself, basically there to que the team into pretending theres a hiccup and must remain quiet during the 20 minute window where all security regulations were ignored to help create this terribly thought out show to begin with.

The remainder of the series just follows each contestents attempt to get away and hide the money in stupid places while for no reason staying local to the area it takes place, with a sideshow of horrendous acting to accomdate it. The law abiding citizens suddenly start scoulding the cops as if they are some kind of hardened criminal, and the cops patronize the audience with their lame attempts to pretend they have no idea whats happening.
