Final season, finally enjoyable
gareth-7544226 June 2020
Love the fact they're having much more fun with this season, was getting a little tiresome with characters pointing out the racism & sexism of decades they were in but didn't get any of that with this episode. Opening credits with the homage to 70s TV shows was brilliant, loved the blue & white uniforms of the shield personnel, a nod to the original Nick Fury Agents of Sheild Marvel comic, was hoping to get a glimpse of Fury in his blue & white spandex outfit lol, as this show no longer ties into the MCU but does still tie in to the Marvel universe thay can pretty much include what they want, within reason of course. Love the character Enoch, Joel Stoffer is the highlight of this series. Never really liked the idea of basing this series on so many different aspects of Sheild from its comic history, but that's modern TV procedure, bit from here bit from there, create new characters just for the show & you have an "original" idea, for the most part it's been pretty good, but I'm old school, I would have preferred a series based in the 60s from the original Nick Fury Agents of Sheild, an action packed retro show of spy's & espionage, Stan Lee's influence for Sheild was The Man from U. N. C. L. E TV show & a tongue in cheek action/thriller spy show with each series chronicling a decade, from the 60s to present day with cameos of different Marvel characters would've been brilliant.

Not the best of the season

The weakest episode of this otherwise stellar season. Great suspense at the commercial breaks but the show was otherwise lacking. I get why they jumped to the 70s with the bicentennial, but otherwise it was a lackluster decade for the tv approach they took.

So Intense!

If you thought that the show will be doing adventure of the week decade hoping then this episode is about to flip that idea on its head! the Chronicom left behind last week has been up to no good and we get to see the real danger of the alien robots hell bent of destroying shield. This episode is funny (featuring a hilarious opening credits sequence), intense, and fast paced with a dash of heartbreaking. Sousa adds a new flavour to the adventure and I find him a most welcome addition.

Episode 705

Warning: Spoilers
I liked the 1970's style TV opening, and parts of this episode were actually pretty good, but I still do not understand what is going on in this final season of Agents of SHIELD. There is very little story and just a few puns about how time travel doesn't really make sense and nothing else.

This episode was at least watchable, which is an improvement over a couple of the last ones though. It looks like we are not only going to get one off episodes here, but more continued time travel throughout the entire season which I just don't think is the right way to go. I would much rather prefer a clear, coherent story.

Worst episode of the entire series
CaptRon-226 June 2020
I don't even know where to begin. As a faithful watcher over the past 7 years, this episode was something were the writers let their kids have a day in the office. Plot holes everywhere, overacting beyond words, and the script was just dumb. I know that every long-running series has that one episode everyone wants to forget; sad that they saved it to one of the last in the series. I can guarantee that this is the episode I will never watch again. What a crapfest.

It's too bad

This show had the potential to make up for last years fiasco. It hasn't. It seems as though they're trying to have fun, it isn't working.

Can't wait till this season is over.

I'm not even sure why I watch this show. I think it's because I like to just zone out sometimes as the plot has always been quite average and the acting not great but I just keep watching it. I've only myself to blame but this episode was just bad. Terrible plot that will leave you scratching your head by the end. I said to myself; "why didn't they just do that in the first place?"
