Take His Name Off the Wall
Hitchcoc20 September 2023
Did anyone think to ask Robert if saving the firm and all the clients was worth taking his name off the wall. While this is an interesting episode, it seems that at no time does anyone think in a practical, reasonable way. I know it's only a TV show, but who started all this? There is no order to anything. They all shoot from the hip. The writers get them out of situations. By the way, I think that Denise Crosby is the perfect person to play that woman. She has the ability to look the innocent flower but be the serpent under it. I hope there's no plan to try to use some kind of extortion to get her. Because this law firm uses that power all the time. I'm now officially tired of Samantha and her tirades as well.
Absolutely perfect

Suits meets Star Trek. Didn't see that coming. Delighted to see Denise Crosby effectively reprising her role as Sela in The Next Generation. The references are subtle but there are too many for it to be an accident - clothing, jewelry, nautical terms, a boardroom confrontation with "Sela" at the head of the table, even reenactment reminiscent of Q! Love it!
Then there's Harvey. Since season two, I knew this was a superhero show and that Harvey is Superman, as well as Batman, with Mike serving as Robin. I didn't realize until this episode that he's also James T. Kirk.
The big question is, why did they wait for season 9 to lean into it? Why spend two seasons descending into daytime soap territory before bringing it home?
