Slow in the beginning but picks up fast

This show reminds me of the Korean drama "Hell is other people.". I am surprised that there isn't a lot of information about this show online in the English speaking community. It's a good show and i think you should watch it if you enjoy mysteries.

Plot twists based on Plot armor

Warning: Spoilers
It's nice thriller. The season one has 20 episodes with many "distractions" and the most innocent one turned to be the killer without earlier foreshadowing. It really feels half baked. Especially the logic part. Characters are interesting, but it's bad writing & world building with so many plot holes, many HOW & WHY questions left unanswered or "how could anyone not notice that?". It's just classic directing someone to be the suspicious person, then completely throwing to the other direction.

Like how they weren't able to figure out the culprit alibi was altered earlier. The other plot twists feels forced too. I'm enjoying my time watching this. I feel it could be trimmed because there are so many fillers.

I probably wont recommend watching this.

The Collision of Social Phenomena
SidSea14 September 2019
An apartment without normal people, each room represents the extreme of a social phenomenon, but more meaningful content can only be seen from spin-off. One star was deducted because the suspense setting at the end is unnecessary, because it doesn't feel like there will be a next season at all.

Breathtaking

I'm not a fan of mystery movies and this is the first time I watch one. I haven't got excited like this before. First of all, everyone of the cast is amazing. Then, the directing is brilliant, it shows us every detail in a very genius way that makes us think with them who's the killer. After that, the music and sound effects make the magical effect. Every situation has its music that makes you live it. Also, the theme song of season one "Stand Alone" by Aimer suits the excitement atmosphere as well season's two theme song by Kei Tanaka makes you cry with him and suits the sad atmosphere of this season.

My favorite drama!!
seijim-8039012 April 2024
This Japanese drama has truly captured my heart and become my absolute favorite! While it may start off a bit slow in the initial episode, each subsequent episode picks up pace, drawing you in deeper with its captivating storyline. The overall plot is meticulously crafted, featuring a rich tapestry of characters, unexpected plot twists, and a perfect blend of humor and drama.

While opinions on the final episode may vary, I wholeheartedly recommend watching it through to the end. And if you have the opportunity, I strongly encourage you to explore the spin-off series 'Beyond the Door,' particularly focusing on the episode titled 'Behind the Door.' 'Beyond the Door' takes a deeper dive into the backstory of each character in its own episode, while 'Behind the Door' serves as the culmination of this incredible journey, tying up loose ends and providing a truly satisfying conclusion that will leave you thoroughly impressed!
