Mahô shôjo Madoka magika: Puella Magi Madoka Magica (2011)
Very good, A+
Ignore the comments saying it is scary, those people don't have logic. And don't just watch a couple of episodes and see. And most comments, as far as I see, are just internet trolls attracted by the smell of blood. If you expected this from a magical girl show, then I am concerned about your mental health. Of course, this is not the best. While not being the best, it successfully made it into my top 10. It has well written storylines, normal characterization, and decently good character development. Also, if you complain about animation style, you really don't deserve to watch animes, being sooo concerned on the least important part. And for those complaining about music, maybe get some artistic cells and learn to listen. Or, just clean your ears. The music was well written and combined well with the piece. This is very worth watching, and it is strongly suggested for you to NOT listen to comments online, including me, and see it yourself.
Vaioretto evâgâden gaiden: Eien to jidô shuki ningyô (2019)
Lost potentials and not enough effort.
They did decently well on the second half (felt a little unoriginal tho, I smell Pattington and Disney.), but the first half sucked ass. Like, the musical experience, the logic in the story, the building of the story, all lags a lot. The beautiful graphics never changed, but not as shockingly beautiful as in the original show. Basically, watchable if you are a real Violet fan, but not so recommended if you are not that much of a fan of it.
Zhen Hun Jie (2016)
Great show
Great overall, fairly good storyline and action scenes. Not many holes. Horrible job done at translations though, as a Chinese I am never happier to be capable of speaking and reading the original conversations, as the English caption they provided was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE.
Zhen Hun Jie (2017)
Well...
Well... great animated series. Nice action scene, nice story line, not many holes. HOWEVER, not as much effort has been spent on the second season as the first, in my opinion. The story is a little vaguer, the line advanced a little slower, AND PLEASE, NO MORE ARROW BLOCKING OR BULLET BLOCKING OR GODDAMED NUKE BLOCKING WITH BODY, PLEASE. This is getting some cliche parts, not to mention revisions of the storyline in the middle of the show. Decently good, but can be done WAYYYY better than it is right now. More effort needed.
Violet Evergarden (2018)
No need to watch if you can't understand the taste of water.
Overall, great show with decent logistics and nice story line. A bunch of idiots said: this has no story. Well, water has no taste, yet you still drink it, no? You can't live with only coke and wine. Besides, if you can't understand the story, it is just you are stupid. Watch it again. As for the guy who said that a 14 years old getting groomed by a man--- read the damned history, and stop acting like every kind of love has to be sexual. Those of you complaining about dubbing, it is a shame of you complaining about translations and dubbing, as this isn't really show related and doesn't truly show how good the show is. Also, for the one who proudly said that he has watched TWO EPISODES AND 30 MINS OF OTHERS, I never knew you can finish a series just like that, why bring your mistakes onto the show? Blame your own foolish way of watching. And the ones complaining about the name doll, yes, that indeed makes people uncomfortable, but first, did you really remember the part in the series that explained the name's origin? Not to mention the awful English seen in most animes... and for people who complains about the main character being too stupid and not understanding things, did you not realize that she didn't even know how to speak when she was already capable of killing, which should be around 7-8 years old? This sounds just like "let them eat cakes, why do they not do that, foolish". No offense, please use your brain in order to appreciate shows and actually watch them. As of the background being too distracting, well, that is much of a you problem, no offense. It may be a draw-back, but please do not use that as too much of a reason.
Evangelion Shin Gekijôban: Kyu (2012)
What happened to the reviewers' IQ?
Well, I don't find the reviewers' review helpful in anyway. Hopefully, this one isn't as well, and you can try the film on your own. I don't know, why in the world are the people just thinking that plots should be straight, and people should be one sided, and this stupid world is either black or white. If you don't like this film, that's fine. If you find it unreasonable and weird, and torturous, that is not so right, except for the torturous part, this film is supposed to be painful. It is revealing the fact that some people do have sad lives. And if you don't accept it, that only shows how childish you are. This ain't fast food, and no one ever said so. This requires repetitive taste, just like the original series. AND PLEASE, stop ruining the movie's reputation and leave a comment AFTER you fully understand the movie.
Shinseiki Evangelion (1995)
Art, not anime.
This is the best anime, because it's not an anime. It is art. It is so fun to watch, yet it stings at last. It stabs your heart, yet it is untouchable. It is a smiling assassin. It is a mirroring of all of us. It hides yet shows. It is plain awesome.
Also, why is the quote that one. (can't stop laughing)
Dali Si Rizhi (2020)
REALLY GOOD... if you know the background well.
The back ground of the story is in the Tang dynasty, when the legendary female emperor Wu Zetian has taken control of the government. The dynasty used to belong to her husband and his family, the Li family, and obviously they have a good amount of power in their hands. Wu was afraid of them, therefore killing or imprisoning a large amount of the Li family members. Also, Wu was a really grim person, having hundreds of lives under her hands. Li Bing is also a member of the family, so some people might not understand that. This anime is really good overall, yet with the cultural differences it may be hard to understand.
