I was kind of turned off by the numerous uses of the F word, this bunch has never used that word in any of their Dungeons and D skits. Its too bad they let this go

I was horrified to see that they killed a horse to make this thing.

There is no animal cruelty disclaimer, the killed the poor thing.

The dialogue was probably inspired by I am groot

I read that they spent upwards to a million on this, I wonder how much they paid for the horse and who killed it.

Given the short story line of this, its really out of place. Its a little like 'singin in the rain', in which in reality the woman who is dubbing another in the movie is in fact being dubbed herself in reality, it goes completely against what the whole thing is representing

-anything for money.

This is a drama mystery, not just a drama.

Acting is pretty good. The mystery component for this is unique. I have no idea why is was not given a mystery tab, who in the heck is doing things over in GAF?

Honestly its been a few weeks since I saw it, and i don't really remember much about the drama, but I totally remember the mystery stuff

My wife and I allowed our hallmark subscription to run out, we did not really talk about it much, a couple movies with guy exchanging tongue and thats all she wrote. We are so grateful for GAF, and are hoping Vanguard will never be able to take it over, as they did with Hallmark and so many other companies.

Dancing actually being done by the actors, a rarity now days. Black Swan you say??? Did you actually SEEE Portman doing a single dance step, the answer is no. Every 'dance' scene with her shows her upper body, or someones legs, but NEVER a full on complex ballet manoeuvre.

This movie has good acting, it has a variety of 'sets', the actors are actually dancing (more than once) in various settings. The manner and reason in which they hook up is realistic. When she 'auditions' it is a no pressure situating in which she believes she is just enjoying dancing, which is what the 'scout' is on the look out for.

I would have liked more actual dance training scenes with less drama in them. At the end of the day there was too much drama

The ending dance was nice

My favorite dance movie is the original 'shall we dance' (1996) with subtitles.

That being said, this is worth a watch.

The movie revolves around helping the poor and or those who are down on their luck during christmas.

One thing that is done differently in this movie is that quite a bit of time is spent showing how this is done. You can see personally where donations are coming from. How exactly the process occurs with volunteer work, picking up stuff, food and present preparation and distribution.

Movies hardly ever actually show stuff, for instance whenever one of these movies revolve around a farm , they never show how exactly the farm runs or how they do what they do. Its always maybe a 60 second cameo on farm workings, Maybe two 60 sec cameos max As far as the whole lori thing goes, she did her time and her husband is still in, my grandmother, who bred like a rabbit to my grandfather (7 kids), told me she did not fall in love with her husband until she was in her 50s, so Lori has missed out on her true bonding love years with her husband, who is still in. On a scale of 1-10 for felonies, Lori is a 1. So lets move on. I was glad she came back with GAF instead of Hallmark. My wife and I just let our Hall mark membership run out after seeing a couple Hallmark movies with guys exchanging tongue saliva.

This movie was well acted. The message was nice. The script was tight.

Ok, despite what I perceived as "professional" reviews preceding this one, I was very impressed with the real life message that probably went over the heads of the other reviewers.

My wife when she was in HS was given an assignment to interview her grandparents about the WW 2 era, she chose her grandfather.

As it turned out, her grandfather had been awarded the SILVER STAR for an action vs Natzi Germany over a bridge battle. He had never talked about anything form that war with any of his kids or relations. No one knew this had happened, he wanted nothing to do with that war

Whoever scripted this movie, was completely aware of this behavior in actual warfront vets, the entire movie revolves around this theme.

I was not overly impressed with the acting, there was very little if any actual farm activity with our hard working farmers. I'd give this thing maybe a 5 or 6, except that the central theme is so powerful, and so overlooked.

I followed this thing up to episode 5, about half the way through 5 I just gave up on it.

At the end of the day its just too much drama. 'As the world turns' stuff, and they have these young characters which the series revolves around, and all the drama on each of them.

There are a very few series that do things right, 'firefly', 'dresden files', I' dream of genie', those rare series that have just the right amount in plot ingredients, this is NOT one of those, its very slanted, as are most tv series.

There does not appear to be a political agenda with this. Its just a TV series that comes across as a script of drama filler to sell a product.

This series just choked me out of being interested.

This and thr first are outstanding Fantasy. Much Much better than most the crap spewing out of hollwood. Currently it can be found in Tubi

It plays like a very high budget movie across the board minus any Political content

Its pretty obvious it has been down graded by movie competitors here in the US, its like, dam I hope no one sees this, its gonna make us look shty

The costuming and cinematography are first rate, the acting is out standing, the specual effects are top of the line

The set pieces are like out of a high budget flick, the script makes total sense and keeps U engaged

You like fantasy and Sci FI, this is and he first one is your baby.

I thought the special effects were pretty good, There really wusn't much.

There wasn't much in the way of fight scenes. Now I confess I stopped watching after about 50 minutes. If a movie has nothing but fight scenes or even a LOT I usually don't watch em, but this movie for me just got boring going the other direction.

I thought the acting was pretty good, i thought the special affects, the little there were, was pretty good, it was just boring. It was definitely low budget with most the scenes occurring in backyards or warehouse areas and low end offices and such Anyway, thats my two bits.

I wanted to see more Hula dancing, REAL hula. My wife wanted the same.

I could not believe it when this popped up while I was perusing movies in Tubi, I clicked on it out of boredom, and quickly realized there was some Hula in it.

The instruction scenes in it were fantastic, it just needs some more actual Hula dancing with less drama, OR just more dance in it and a longer movie There is finally a movie out like this, Never thought to see it, this should be a GAF selection, no politics or hidden agenda, A little too much drama and a little too little dance

Also the actress should have done at least one more song.

The Gina Carano movie they blew a leg on a cow with firearms

DW is gonna end up w/ an animal cruelty reputation that they clearly are making a point of fostering that is going to cost them viewers such as myself who leans right in politics. Hel, I even got deleted by you tube for expressing conservative opinion w/o any offensive language and such

I can't get behind animal cruelty.

It probably saves them money to kill and torture em for real, and does the 'man thing', advocates gun rights I suppose

At the end of the day its pretty sick, and weakens the political position of DW

As someone who is praying for a conservative pres in the next election, this movie is disgusting in its cruelty.

So far I haven't really decide if i like it or not.

The Pros, I went and found the other strong girl stuff and watched a little, I found the original unwatchable, the drama scenes were extremely abrasive, this version is better and easier and friendlier to watch. I found the humor parts to be funny, although most of the humor stems on women doing beat downs on men, that appears to be pretty much what it has going in the funny category. There are some epic moments in the 'strong girl' scenes which are pivotal and definitely put a viewer on edge in a good way.

The cons, the primary protagonist is not a very good actor. The whole script revolves around the boss girl movement in an overbearing way. The Primary protagonist often interrupts her love interest in conversation in an overbearing manner. All the females are beating up on rude and obnoxious males in every episode. They shout down rude obnoxious males regularly who then bow their heads submissively.

There is a non explicit sex scene in which the male is completely submissive to the female to the point of crying. There is another scene in which a woman tells a man to shut up at a dinner table, otherwise she will basically slap him around

One character bobs her hair, and then afterwards is portrayed as being better looking because of it. The girl is actually NOT better looking after getting her hair bobbed. She is in fact LESS good looking.

Boss girl agenda across the board.

Ok, so at this point I have watched 8 episodes, I was pretty impressed with the first three episodes, but at this point I can say I have lost interest in the series. Episodes 4-8 were just too boring, lots of drama and so on. Just lost interest. Sorry.

It revolves around cooking, but nothing is actually cooked, they just kind of magically "appear" the dishes, with a little talking and cutting

The real focus is on the singing and dancing, which are decent. The viewer is slowly lead into realizing that the romance is really between two guys, which is kind of a let down given the build up, its a blind build up

Initially I was wondering a little about casting asians who had good singing voices in pure american english w/ no accent, and then I realized that their target audience is the woke stuff over here

I notice that this movie has no viewers and hardly any rating votes, because in reality the woke movement is largely narrative driven by the media. In other words, not a much of a fan base

It would have gotten a nice audience and plenty of looks with a different script, oh well.

The drama was way over the top for a family tv series for kids. I don't understand why this was done

The comedy was quite good, and the music was really nice, but the intense drama scenes made a viewer cringe

There seemed to be a lot on family death and some teen innuendo towards an adult, this was ok, but it just kind of fueled the anti for it being a family movie

The old family tv series seemed to know how to make all ages family material, i guess modern script writers have never watched any of this, This TV series will disappear into oblivion in a year, those old classics will still be watched and enjoyed by all ages.

Quite awhile back there were some animation musicals and a couple teen musicals done out of japan that were amazing, the script was quite good, and the music was beautiful.

Fast forward to modern times, with this elevator music and an average singing voice tv series coming out of japan, and leeching off what has been done in the past. Its a teen musical out of Japan, so its pretty good.

Wrong, its a drama with some elevator music, and I'm pretty sure no one in the crew knew much about music composition at all.

Anyway, go find -swing girls- in the original language with sub titles, or find- Nodame Cantabile in the original japanese with sub titles, or even -your lie in April.

Don't bother with this elevator goosh.

I was hoping the script writers were not going to take money to write in LGBT into their story, but money talks.

I keep wondering how much it costs to get a character to turn into a homosexual, how much money gets passed around at the top,

I even wonder if this review will get cancelled for stating the truth, 'the king has no clothes'--I am guessing they made a lot on this under the table

This season has been dragging further and further down, so they just decided to make as much as possible on a sinking ship. My guess is the offer has been on the table since season one.

Guess it time to start looking elsewhere.

I kept wondering why it needed to be a white dad, and then it became clear at the ending.

My wife and I were hoping for something profound and unpredictable at the ending, it would have made this movie memorable, no such luck.

There are so many Hollywood movies that send their work into mediocrity and guaranteed oblivion with the ending they slot in.

Sooo we have good acting, a well developed and engaging script, and an ending that will ensure you forget about the movie in a year or so.

There was also a couple of confusing points w/ the computer stuff, which made me thing there was no Beta test group,

I went into this believing, even hoping that bits and pieces of Poe's poetry would be woven into the movie. It didn't really occur.

I was hoping that even some of his actual immortal lines would make it into dialogue, did not really occur.

Straight forward script writing, no poetry occurs, except for a quick rhyme sex innuendo at one point, and they go all out on the heart, but there is literally none of the poetry

cinematography was quite good, acting good, dude who plays Poe did well

Just don't get your hopes up that a NON independent movie with a budget weaves some actual poetry into it, thats all I am saying.

But this one does not really work for me

I guess for me I needed more actual chocolate making, this movie is all about dialogue and how tasty chocolate is. No actual production of chocolate outside of dialogue

I very much appreciated how clean the movie is. I appreciated no over the top drama.

The actors were ok, I doubt either of them knew anything about actual belgian chocolate making. At around 55 min into the movie they actually do cook up somehing, for me its too little too late.

I believe my wife would like this more than me.

I can ay that I generally enjoy GAF more than this one.

For some reason a batch of false reviews have been placed in IMDB. Most read kind of similar, --hmmmmm

In any event, to address the stupid reviews on accent, the two characters with 'accents' sound spot on to me, I have worked with folks from India and that accent is spot on, I have worked around people from China, and that accent is spot on. I am guessing that somehow the people doing the ignorant 'accent' reviews are fixated on their own home country

The script is really quite good, the acting is good. The the movie viewer is going to get very little that modern stuff has with the over the top. No screaming fits of emotion, no graphic sex or violence. So yea, for a LOT of viewers, especially young viewers or 'adult children', the movie is going to be "borring"".

This movie slowly unwinds and the mystery and its solution fit the facts as laid out during he development of the movie. No rabbit is pulled out at the end. It all fits.

As time goes by, the mystery movie will become better known, and gain in popularity.

Excellent candidate for a sequel.

Probably because I like Yentyl, with Barbara Streisand.

I have a hard time believing that just because a guy does woman' fashion design he is gay. Sorry folks. Because this stereotype was pushed to the heights I down grade it to a 6.5.

That being said, the acting by the actress is exemplary, she carries the movie w/o the viewer realizing it. Pretty impressive.

The movie has two threads in it, competitive fashion design and a boy/ girl romance.

I would have really liked it more if they had more design stuff to it, get a real feel for the process. It was definitely front and center in the movie, I would just have liked more of that with less drama.

Soap is about all there is. Around the 7th season.

In any event, I started watching this thing about 7 months or so ago, and have slowly forged ahead on the episodes. Despite all the hoopla, some of the actors don't have much range.

The gal that plays Lois Lane is pretty much sexually exploited through out the series, in reality the actual comic book character soop would never go for a bimbo. The camera makes sure they are always dialed in on her alleged implants, which she often brings front and center with her costuming. Her acting was around C range

You can lose track of the number of times the lana character does saliva exchange in one episode, much less the whole damed series.

The series actually managed to build up some female super heroes, something there is not a whole lot of in the superman universe. These characters had background, history with the justice league, a bevy of villains, everything U need for legit super heroes. CW tore them down.

There was some funny episodes / side plots in the first few seasons, this diversity was replaced with soap going into season 7.

Allison Mack was the best actor in the thing, her range is pretty amazing. The series did manage to find real good actors to play the different characters to come and go. Some of t those actors were better than most of he cast members, just not as good looking.

Many foreign movies, but not all, would rather do this to animals then spend the money for CGI

When I see CGI animals instead of actual animals being killed for whatever reason, I am grateful. It makes me mad when someone says 'it looks fake'. I say, thank god for that

The stuff in this movie was pretty awful, I did not finish it.

Many people are ignorant of the fact that animals have the SAME EXACT nervous system as people. This means they feel the same exact pain we do under the same circumstances

I do know that many people do not realize this, some actually believe that animals don't feel stuff the way we do.

Ok, I have to confess, I STOPPED watching this on Tubi after about 50 minutes in, it dawned on me that along with two or three other chain smokers in this production, prince charming was incapable of not having a cancer stick in his hand and mouth. That was all I could take, srry all.

It used to be that movies like this got kick backs from the cigarette industry. Now maybe the same thing. I know script writers are kicking kick backs for LGBT content, so who is to say some of the old ciggy guard is not still around.

I really wanted to enjoy this as it seems like it was promoting music, however, it was promoting something else much much more.

First 2-3 episodes are good. I bet many reviews are done by viewers who watch those. Then it comes to the mirror thingy, and then its one episode after another with the mirror thingy

Episode after episode after episode on solving the mirror thingy. Crappy script writers who are trying to fill in episode time, god forbid they resolves something so they have to do another plot mystery

The pointless drama scenes start to pile up in the mirror thingy, 'god we need 4-6 filler min, lets do some confrontational out of the blue drama'

You can probably blame this on the director as well

This rating is going to go slowly down.

I was once in a creative writing class, one member wrote his stories w/ several hundred F words, he would read it out loud, the class would laugh. It was taboo, and therefore funny by definition, or at least their definition

I watched this up to the conflict in the plane with both main actresses exchanging a long line of F word vocabulary, and realized that many viewers would laugh at this

But really, its not funny, its not actually humor

In any event, this is one of those movies which could of been memorable, but will leave most viewers uncomfortable with the over the top dialogue, and the script writeer quickly cashes his check and hopes it is quickly forgotten about so he can get away with it again.
