I saw the movie without having read the novel from Rula Jebreal who seemed to be fine with the adaptation according to an interview I saw from her. I must say that this story that probably would deserve more time to develop the life of this young girl in Middle East and was really captivating. There are just facts speaking about the political situation (so no need to care about the 17% on Rotten Tomatoes for this movie), and we discover a very moving evolution of a girl who will become the journalist that Rula is now.
