Not a single character in the movie that I cared about except one that got shot a few minutes in. Might be based on a true story, but if so, that's too bad. Wanted to like it, but just nothing to care about here. Great scenery, but that's about it.
I like some of the actors in the movie, just not in these roles. If you want to watch a bunch of insipid characters wander around in the desert without a clue then this is the perfect move for that.
I will probably go read up on the "true story" this movie was based on, just to see if that had any better information. If this was supposed to make the sheriff and posse look like they shouldn't nave been allowed outside without supervision then they succeeded. If it was supposed to make me care, it missed.
