The Tipping Point - All in
weberd-6794728 April 2020
You start watching a series and wonder: Is this going to be worth it? You watch the first episode. Perhaps its the acting, plot, cast, editing, music, which causes you to want it but you want more. Then you watch the next episode and you get drawn in deeper. When the 3rd episode arrives, you want it - you really want it ALL. You learn more about Ruby and a lot more about Billy than you realized. Then there's this one scene - I won't spoil it except to say you'll think one thing and bust out laughing when you realize what exactly is happening. But at that moment, BLINK - you realize this just went to a whole new level. An understantement: Superb plot line and twist! You start connecting the dots - but are the dots really connecting? Just as real as Ruby's body language. Then you get to the last scene and its: Game over, Hooked. Totally. This episode is the tipping point - you're ALL IN. WOW - Savor this episode because you won't be able to wait until the next one. As for me, time to watch it again. Whew

Great!

Warning: Spoilers
Such an abundance of talent! Writing. Directing. Performance. This episode, particularly, kicked it up a notch. Three thoughts I want to share. Billy reminds me of a ginger Cate Blanchett. Dierdre Lovejoy is the greatest actress that I've ever not known her name. I don't know why. She's so awesome. But I saw her and kept thinking, I know her, I know her, and then it came to me. She's The Gravedigger from Bones! What a role! What a performance! Lastly, that scene from the dressing room. Wow! We've already had masturbation scenes and that's what I was prepared for. When she fell out from behind the curtain I gasped, and then laughed out loud. What followed was even MORE unexpected and exhilerating. If you don't like this we have nothing in common.

Brilliant

Absolutely loved this. Had me hooked from the start. The chemistry between the lead characters was so amazing. Brilliantly written. I hate predictable comedies and this kept me guessing the whole way through. The idea of texting 'run' and just escaping is really appealing to me.
